4th Annual Denpasar Festival 2011
The annual Denpasar Festival is an event that celebrates the creativity and cultural diversity of the city. It offers a variety of food stalls, art and handicrafts for sale, traditional Balinese dancing and local award ceremonies. The festival offers a great collection of traditional Balinese food from Ayam Betutu to Babi Guling to a traditional Balinese sweet drink. “We hope this event can be a memorable closing to the year,” stated the second assistant of Denpasar, IGN Eddy Mulya, yesterday. The festival will run until Dec. 31. -Bali Beats.
The festival also hosts awards even for some of the local cuisine and in search of finding the city’s best.
Denpasar Festival 2011 was held at the center of Denpasar’s business district, which is located near the Candramuka monument. The Denpasar festival is surely worth the visit if you are in Bali around the end of the year. It will open your eyes to Bali’s best eats, a chance to meet Balinese people, see Traditional dances and to see Denpasar’s central district brightens in dazzling lights, dances and the smoke from satay vendors. See the smiles, laughter and culture of Bali’s capital city.
