Desert and Chips at Nomad, Ubud
It may not be their actual specialty, but if you want free wi-fi, relaxing atmosphere and some bad ass chips and desert, come over to NOMAD, Ubud. I regret not trying out their main dishes and their specials, but I was over in Ubud to hang around for abit while my brother does something at work. I was in a school holiday back to Bali, so I had alot of free time. At that time, my blog still looks primitive, its a shame that only NOW I decided to post these pictures.
Now, the coincidence was that I went to NOMAD especially because they had free wi-fi and Nomad was the first place in Ubud to ever have had wartel (telecommunication service). It may not be a significant achievement, but to me, it sadly was.
“Mr. Nomad and all his wonderful staff welcome you to Ubud’s famous NOMAD Restaurant. Happy to serve you a distinctive selection of local, Asian fusion and Western food since 1979. Nomad offers affordable cuisine with a friendly and professional service in a contemporary Balinese environment.”-NOMAD
Anyways, for what its worth, if you are around Ubud and want a place to chill and have a drink and some desert. Head to Nomad, great location as its near shopping areas and major tourist attractions~
