Elephant Parade, Ion Orchard
The Ion is one of Orchard Road’s newest and most exhilarating looking shopping mall on the street. The Ion Orchard was infiltrated with probably the most snotty and glamorous looking elephants. There was an elephant covered in painted jewels and even one painted as burglars next to them. They have probably been shopping around the area before posing on the streets like they were supposed to. (Yes I know, I make the worst jokes.. haaaaha)
The Elephant Parade in Singapore is a nationwide art showcase of decorated elephant statues exhibited among Singapore’s streets and inside of their iconic shopping malls. The Elephant Parade is for the purpose of creating a public attention to the support of elephant conservation. The elephants are all distinctively decorated in different patterns, a mimic of other animals, a recollection of Singapore’s iconic structures and cultures or even in plain black/white.
The elephants were definitely something that spruced up my time in Singapore. I would walk around Singapore’s famous Orchard road taking pictures of as many elephants as I could. I mean, come one, when will you ever actually see elephants parading around its busy streets? Some of the pictures of the elephants I took is down below so have a look at them.

I loved it too!! One thing I regretted was not buying miniature versions of the elephants that was on sale.:(
