Never Karaoke in Japan without a Japanese!!

April 20, 2012

One of the stupidest things to do is to not go Karaoke in Japan when visiting Japan. I always wanted to sing Karaoke in Japan like they did in the movie ‘Lost in Translation’. But let me tell you… It’s not all fun and games. When I reached the Karaoke place, I was goddamn thankful that I have a Japanese friend there with us!!!!

It was while we were in Shinjuku that we wondered around the place hoping to find a place to hang out. I was meeting up in Shinjuku with a good friend of mine from Perth who lives in Kanagawa but came to visit us in Shinjuku. We met up, had dinner then wondered across the block 2 times trying to find a place to hang out. I was highly tempted to go try out the many Pachinko machines, but nahh it looked too bizarre for my taste :(

Anyways, here are some pictures of our time at the Karaoke place. We had an awesome time~

Below: WTF IS THIS??!! When we were given this…. We were clueless as hell as what to write! Also, the lady at the cashier didn’t speak much English, which was common in Japan, so we couldn’t really ask her that many questions. We stared at the paper and nonchalantly gave it to our Japanese friend to fill out. THANK YOU SO MUCH KAITO FOR BEING THERE!
